Activating the Kumbia Memorial Hall as an accessible Community Meeting Place that supports resilience building and disaster preparedness now and into the future, through hall upgrades, a schedule of events, training, resources and information sharing.
Our Project
The Kumbia and District Memorial School of Arts Inc. is the lead organization for the Kumbia hall Prepare and Connect Program. A working group of volunteers from the Kumbia Community aiming to build skills, knowledge and capacity of the Kumbia community to be better prepared for future disasters through strengthening and sustaining the existing systems. The community idientified infrastructure upgrades to the Kumbia Hall, Network, Communication, Information, Self-Organising Systems and Resources as key areas of focus.
